A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the death of 15-year-old Amen Teklay, who was found seriously injured on Clarendon Street in Glasgow on Wednesday night.
Amen was pronounced dead at the scene, and following a post-mortem, his death is being treated as murder. A 14-year-old and 15-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the death, and the 14-year-old has now been charged.
The charged teenager is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court. Police Scotland continues to investigate, and inquiries are ongoing. Amen’s family is being supported by specially-trained officers.

Amen was a pupil at St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School in Glasgow, where he was described as a bright and friendly young man with an interest in music and media.
