A murder investigation is underway in northwest London after a 26-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Kingsbury Road, Kingsbury, early Sunday morning.
Police responded to reports of an altercation around 3:30 a.m. and found the man with a stab wound. Despite being taken to the hospital, he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s family has been notified, and formal identification and a post-mortem examination are pending. No arrests have been made yet.
Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo described the incident as “tragic” and assured the public that there will be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
