Hamilton, ON — A devastating multi-vehicle collision on Trinity Church Road near Binbrook has left a community in mourning after a young girl was tragically killed and seven others were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash occurred Sunday evening when a southbound vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming car. The impact triggered a chain reaction, as a third and fourth vehicle became involved, including one that rear-ended the initial wreckage. Hamilton Police and emergency responders arrived swiftly to the chaotic scene, which stretched across a section of Trinity Church Road between Guyatt and Dickenson Roads.
Paramedics transported seven people to nearby hospitals with varying degrees of injuries. Despite efforts to save her, a young female child was pronounced dead at McMaster Children’s Hospital, marking an especially painful loss that has shaken residents and first responders alike.
